Web Committee Meetings
The Web Committee meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. through Google Hangouts. If you would like to participate on the committee or attend a meeting, please email the webchair for the Google Hangouts link. All members are welcome to participate. If you are non-technical, please don’t let that stop you from joining us!
About the Area 10 Website
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Area 10 Website is two fold: 1) to serve Area 10 AA members, GSR’s, DCM’s, District and Area service chairs by providing current information about Area 10 service activity and business; 2) to serve all AA members and the still suffering alcoholic by providing access to local (District) meeting and/or contact information, general information about Alcoholics Anonymous, and information about Area 10 events.
Ownership
This Website, it’s registered web name and all software associated with the development and maintenance of this site are property of Area 10. In keeping with Tradition Seven of the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, Area 10 pays all fees and expenses associated with this site. Area 10 shall be named as the owner of the domain registration. The technical contact shall be the Area 10 webchair.
Content
Information contained on this site is provided by the district and area committees within Area 10 and the State of Colorado. These committees are responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of this information. Information may be submitted, changed or removed from this site by submitting the necessary information to the Area 10 webchair via e-mail or by sending the information to the webchair’s regular mailing address as shown in the Area mailing list. No telephone numbers will be listed, without the owners expressed permission. In order to avoid the appearance of endorsement or affiliation with any outside entities, the website events calendar will list only events directly related to Area 10 activities.
Website Committee
The webchair will have sole responsibility for updating the website content. This person collects information from Area and District committee members, reviews all proposed changes with the Area Chair or designated reviewer, and updates the website. This person also deals directly with the Web hosting service regarding technical matters and reports current status to the Area Assembly. The Area Chair, or designated substitute, is the ultimate authority, and assumes all responsibility for this website’s content.
Anonymity
We do not collect personal information, do not use cookies and make every attempt to protect the privacy and anonymity of everyone involved in area business.
